My son received an invitation to attend the South Eastern Baseball Showcase at Riverwood High in Sandy Spring (North of Atlanta) on October 21st. Has anyone heard of this event? Is it worth the time?

They say that the staff will be comprised of Major League Scouts and that players must be considered a likely D1 or draft pick to be invited and that several D1 and pro scouts will be in attendance. They also say it will be limited to 40 players.
