Im a junior and was wondering how you get invited to this. Do they only invite people who previously attended a PG event and then pick the best? Or are people put on the list by recommandations from professional or college scouts? Thanks in advance for any information.

There are probably multiple ways to get invitations, but one way is to attend a Sunshine showcase in various parts of the country. I've been told by a PG person that if you really "shine" there, you will get an invite to the national showcase, which will be held soon thereafter.
