Does anyone have any information on this place? If so, please provide as much information as you can regarding the place. One of the parents on his high school team was mentioning this place but I never heard of it. Thanks for any information

if you use the find and search on IMG Academy, you will find a lot of info.

You can get lots from their website. Nice place if you can afford it. Having visited there, spoken to past students, nstruction is very good.

Uncheck this thread only.

We are somewhat competitors in a small way. We have also had several of their better players attend our events. They do a great job with those kids. They're professionals and have earned my respect.

I'm not sure how much they charge. I once checked and it seemed like they weren't over charging for what they actually do.

Very expensive. They run a great program and have fantastic trainers. If you can afford the luxury go for it but you can find the same training at the local level for much less.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery ...today is a gift - don't waste it.

I went there for a camp over the summer last year, and I'm going this year too. Our former HS assistant coach, and family friend works there now.

There was an article in the local paper a few weeks ago talking about how Jamie Moyer's two sons go to school there.
It is private school that also has full time training in your chosen sport. Like others stated very expensive. The article noted that the Moyers pay $41K per kid.

I went to the Wood Bat League. I got home Saturday. It was an amazing experience. Nothing else is like it. I stayed on campus, and every night we were all hanging out in each others rooms, since all of the baseball players were kept in the same building. Not to mention I got the best coaching of my life, and played against some great competition. I met so many new people who I know I will see again later in my baseball career. It's cool to think that a pitcher from Florida can throw to a catcher from New Jersey who then throws out a base runner from Ohio, and he is tagged out by a shortstop from New Mexico. As was the case for our team. The Bradenton Herald did a story on the league. It gives a glimpse but only scratches the surface of everything we do.

Anyone considering going should definitely make their best effort to go. I'm going back next year. The league grows and grows every year.

If anyone has questions PM me.
