Having success with PerfectGame showcases as a High Schooler, I'm interested if there are any showcases or events similar to these but for college players. I'm a freshman heading into my sophomore year of college and would like to get my name out. Are there any organizations that run these type of events?

You should be going to MLB tryouts at this point in the game, IMO. I mean, I'm assuming you're already playing ball in college? Or are you still looking for a place to play? I guess I'm slightly confused. More info on your situation, and I think then you'll get some firm responses.

Yes I'm in college. I wasn't sure what goes on exposure wise right now though. I wanted to know if there was any type of company that hosts such events like PG holds for college scouts, for college players for MLB ones. I'm also confused on the MLB tryouts, are they invite only or open? Information is much appreciated.

There are open MLB tryouts.

Here are some links to research:

As far as I know, college players need to make themselves scoutable simply by outstanding play; well above the level of their peers. Scouts will hear about the kids who have risen to the top of the heap. Eyes and ears are everywhere.

For the most part the "college showcasing" is done on the field at your college with "scout day" and regular season games, in addition to the college summer leagues/teams. If you are of interest to a pro team they may invite you to a local workout with a number of other players.

The only college showcases I have seen were for JC players in CA. I am sure there are some others. If you are a JC player you might also be able to attend a "prospects camp" at a 4 year school.
