what are some thoughts on the best showcase to hit up during the summer... which will get you the most visibilty..etc

Depends on what your looking for or how good you are..but if you get picked Perfect Games National Showcase, or any PG events..If you want strong academic schools, then Headfirst.

In the northeast Selectfest and Perfect Game Wareham is heavily scouted by mlb scouts and colleges.

Nationwide showcases (invite only) have best talent and most heavily scouted
East Coast Pro Showcase
Area Code Games
Perfect Game Nationals
AFLAC Game

Any of the Perfect Game events are reputable and worthwhile. They are the only ones I can vouch for as always offering what they advertise.
