Has anyone attended a past SELECT FEST that is held in New Jersey. I was wondering about the amount of colleges that actually show and if they thought it was a good experience?

My son attended Selectfest. It was very well run and attended by colleges from all levels and while heavy with schools from the Northeast there was also solid representation of national schools there as well.
In our experience invitations were determined based on HS and travel team coaches recommendations. I believe that some of the bigger academies in the state are also involved with selection. (Cust & Hit Doctor) While some players received early invitation most went out sometime after the HS season started.
Selectfest was the best of class in the area at the time my son was going through the process. I would highly recommend the event if invited.
Here is a link to the schools that attended last year. Selectfest

Is this Selectfest showcase just mainly for players from the NE or can they be from the SE region. Sounds like a good opportunity would not want to miss out. Parents originally from Jersey still have alot of family up there.

If I remember correctly I think there were two different fees. One to particpate in the skills portion and the other to participate in the games. The cost, though I don't remember exactly how much, was reasonable compared to other multi-day showcases.
