My son is a junior pitcher and is interested in playing baseball at a northeastern DIII. He has not been to any of the showcases yet. Is it too late? Which ones are best for this type of exposure? Perfect Game? College Select? Top 96/TPX? Are there others? Thanks for sharing your experience.

While I have never spoke to him live, based on his many posts and supporting info from other posters, I would highly recommend you contact TRHit. College Select is a great venue (IMHO) for exposure in the NE.
Good luck!
Oh by the way, it's not too late...........

College Select is the showcase TRHit is with. Another option might be the Headfirst showcase held in Richmond, Virginia as a lot of top academic DIIIs take part in that one. Another approach would be to contact some of the schools he is interested in and ask them what showcases they attend or get information from and about their camps if they have them.

I would agree with the above posts. PG showcases are well run and (in my opinion) well worth the money. College Select (TRHit's) also have a great reputation and he appears to have a real understanding of college baseball - at all levels - in the northeast. I would go to their website, get his tel number, and give him a call.

And, no...you are not too late. Good luck!

Contact the schools (coaches) that he is interested in. Ask them which showcases they attend. You don't want to spend major bucks if it doesn't put your kid in front of the folks that you want him to be seen by.

We suggest a player not limit himself to the schools he wants----they may not need his position to be filled---he may not have the academics----the key to a showcase for a player is to be seen by as many schools as possible----who knows what can happen--if you have the talent you will be in good shape---why limit the parameters ?
