My son attended a baseball factory/under armour tryout and was selected to participate on their USA Baseball/JO 16U team. I have read a boatload of posts questioning baseball factory tournaments, but if my son is playing on a tournament team at this level, is it worth the money? he is a 6'4 freshman P/1B and he will be on the team for both positions. It's a lot of cash, but will he get scout exposure?

The JO program in Arizona and Florida are great experience and for most kids the first opportunity to participate in a national tournament. In my opinion it is a great father/son experience. The competition is terrific and with a good team it can be great fun.
Don't go expecting this to be a recruiting opportunity, because it is not. The have nearly 1,400 kids at each location to build a 30 person team. Your ods are awful.
When I did it with my son, the total cost for the week, including airfare was $1,000 +/-. For me this was worth it for the experience. If cash is an issue, you need to value the experience.
