Has anyone had experience with the Bay Area World Series. My son got an invite to this event. There's an abbreviated website with some information about past events. Just wondering if anybody has had any personal experience with this and what their feedback might be. Thanks

Yes, Great Tournament/Showcase.
Do not pass on this one.
Should be the 3rd year for the Bay Area World Series.
All the Player's from around the Bay Area that have been recognized as having Talent are Invited.
Should be full of College Recruitor's and Pro Scout's.

Last Year my Son was invited and had a great time.

They wrapped it around the Area Code Tryout's.
Your Son should feel it an Honer to Participate.
Congrat's to your son. the EH

This is a first class event. The organizer does a very good job of identifying the best players in northern California.

Don't expect your son to walk away with a scholorship, however, this is a very high profile event that is well attended.

It is also a great source of pride to those that have partcipated in the past.

.

We did both BAWS I, and BAWS II....

Would STRONGLY agree with EH on all counts...

and add that the man in charge is first class and REALLY cares about the players and their futures...

Had a great experience in both cases, one of the best things we did in 3 years on the recruitng trail...

DON'T MISS THIS ONE!

Feel free to PM me with any questions....

I've heard great things about this event from more than one parent... I would describe it as a "don't miss it"

Thanks. We're very pleased. He's also got an Area Code tryout that weekend too. My son's worked so hard for so many years. These things really do matter..even they don't pan out to all his expectations, I know the experience is going to be great.

Newcomer,
Not sure what position your Son Play's ??
If a Pitcher Only you might want to find out about the Pitching Schedule at the BAWS, vs Area Code.

They wrap the BAWS around the Area Code, So that some Player's may attend both.

If does both position play and pitch, then do one at one event and one at the other.
It should be the same Recruitors and Scouts at both Event's??
