It's a one-day prospect clinic/showcase. Franklin Pierce I know has a marvelous program but is not an academic fit for my son. Does anyone who has experience with this particular event know how well attended it is by other college coaches/recruiters? Thanks.

Last year there were about 6-8 area college coaches (Fitchburg State, Holy Cross, and some others I can't remember) plus 3 or 4 pro scouts. FPC's program is growing and getting lots of attention, so there may be more recruiters this year. Email Coach King about it. He's very approachable and good about getting back to people.

Coach King is a great guy and loves baseball. I see him at EVERY scouting event/showcase that I go to. That said, I live right near FPC, and I've been to their camps. They have a good staff and the players are really helpful as well. I've been to the hitting, pitching, and fielding clinics/showcases. They aren't large scale events, but a player can learn a lot by attending.
