Makes some sense with the comittment to a brand new baseball facility...and I know that Carter had been around some previoulsy...

Don't know if they will all stay (Avila the former head coach is moving to an assistant for the spring)...but we really liked the staff there top to bottom....bunch of high quality people of real character.

High end coach...new facilities...great staff..A program on the rise...

Cool

That could happen jtb...Gary's up to $8 on eBay this morning.

This can't do anything but raise the value of his friends as well!

Ok, I see Gary (far left)...now, continuing from left to right...Mr October, Reggie Jackson, #20 from the Phillies, Mike Schmidt! 2005 HOF'er Wade Boggs in a Boston uniform and once again in a the dreaded Yankees uniform and a pitcher for the life of me I cannot identify...who is that? It couldn't be Nolan Ryan, the leg kick isn't high enough...

In the comments section the owner of the action figures states the Yankee Boggs is actually Don Mattingly.

And sorry Coach...I can't help you identify that pitcher. If only he were barefoot and had his glove off I most likely could rule out Antonio Alfonseca!

Oh well, the Yankee still looks much more like Boggs than a Mattingly, but I guess it is what the owner says it is...I guess there is enough of a resemblence in action figures...

Yeah, I guess it could be...but the figure looks kinda beefy and wasn't Carew thin? But then again, who said action figures have to be exact replicas?

From the left's perspective this group would surely qualify...
