My son tore his ACL in October 2007. At first there was total panic - my son was a senior in hs, and his goal was to play college baseball. He had surgery on November 9, 2007, and was blessed to pitch in his team's first game on Feb. 16, 2008 with a brace on. The good news is that he went 8-0 this year, his team won a state championship, and he will soon sign a letter of intent to play college baseball. He worked is tail off in rehab, has not worn a brace since the first week in April, and has been doing squats for the last three months. Pretty proud of him.
