Back on June 9th I had a very unusual throwing competition with a young 16 year old - 31 years younger than me to be exact - I am 47. The competition was filmed for a TV show in UK that aired a couple of weeks ago. I accepted the challenge for this program to show that there is a technique and skill to throwing anything - right? We did not throw a baseball, at least not this time, but due to the response from the show both in the the UK and in the USA there might be a follow up competition, possibily in the States.

Hey Roald, that was a great video. I would have liked to see you both throw a baseball though. How far can you throw a baseball now? I am a big track and field fan especially the decathlon and I remember you in your younger days even though you still look in great shape.

you know I don't know - I haven't thrown a baseball or a cricket ball for years, at least for distance - kinda funny when you think I throw pretty much every else...?
