IB, so you're a "glass is half-full" kind of guy, huh?

Not only am I a "glass is half-empty" kind of guy, I'm ticked off that when the glass is completely empty, then I'll have to wash the dang thing.

The very thought BD makes me shudder, but...we are fortunate enough in AZ to keep watching some good ball with the Arizona Fall League for a couple more weeks...

Then...it's the winter men's softball leagues! Just to take the bite off of not being able to turn on the tv to watch a game just about anytime of day...even though I can catch a good club ball tournament just about every weekend 'round here...not to mention catching some JC scrimmages down the street...

Then...it's back to the best time of year...baseball season!!! ...and I don't have to brag anymore about what we have here in AZ when it comes to BB do I?...cuz I can keep going...

My suggestion for your malaise?...move to AZ, where you can get your baseball fix anytime of year! It definately takes the edge off of not having any trees around here...

Sorry about that. As you can see I did leave some for you back up there on on Tempe Butte... you best head up that way and stay in the shade! There's a particularly nice grove up near the summit...can't miss it!

and for me- 17 more weeks till my Met pitchers and catchers report to Port St Lucie!

Of course- when that comes around, several Mets will probably get injuries while loading their gear into the car and be out for the season! Big Grin

And we get an entire off-season of those smug Yankee fans and their gloating...

They're like the rich parents of a kid on your son's team who really is good, but they never stop talking about how great he is, and it's so annoying that you'd rather see the kid strike out with bases loaded than win the game...

Bart Giamatti said it best:

"It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone." You gotta love it....

Redsox fans hate this day and bitter fans all over the country will resort to ...

The Yanks bought this championship blah bah blah.

It was nice to see Andy start the game, Mo Close it, and Jorge catch. Oh and jeter bat .400 in the post season, the overrated Jeter that is.

We bask in the hate!

2007 World Series Champions, da yanks.
