It's Baa-aack..!

Spring is in the air...Many of the Sunbelt JC's start today...California JC's have a full schedule - all-be-it around the raindrops...

Clear skies, high OBP's, low ERA's, and starting postions for all!

It was below zero this morning here 44. loki

Our crocus and daffodils can still be seen on the beaches at Cancun drinking fruity drinks with those little parasols perched on the rim. drunkard

I'm glad you're excited...when I put another notch on the handle of my trusty snow shovel after one more successful clearing I'll be thinking of you 44...side-stepping your scattered raindrops!

Here's a little something to keep your vernal momentum going...

We're in the 30's here in San Antonio. Brrrrrr!

BUT......baseball has begun! Today is the first official day of hs baseball season in Texas and my son's coach is taking full advantage of it. The players had to be at school early this morning for BP at Practice #1 and will be at it again after school for Practice #2. Same drill for tomorrow. Never thought I'd hear about 2-a-days for baseball!

First scrimmage is 2/4 and first district game is 2/19. My family is amped! party

In the 30's...in San Antonio?

Don't worry Infield08...I checked the label...this stuff doesn't freeze up 'til around 25°F...it's got some natural occurring anti-freeze in it.

Lucky you!

We are ready! Practice has been in full swing for 2 weeks and I gotta say the middle infield looks awesome. First scrimmage is a week from today, pre-season tournament two weeks from today, and opening day is Feb 12. Go Blue Wave!! clapping

30's and 40's here in South Louisiana, we are not used to this. Also, Rain, Rain, Rain, more Rain. The boys have been in the gym a lot more than outside. First scrimmage is February 9th, hopefully the rain stops and it warms up a little.

GotWood - Your crocus's and daffodils are vacationing in Cancun? You must pay them a heck of a lot more than I pay mine!

You must be from the northern suburbs of Chicago.

Perhaps so, but it's awfully hard to play baseball on that terrain!

(I double dog dare you to find a photo of a baseball diamond on Guadalupe Peak! Big Grin)
