the glove looks like garbage to me. rather get a glove and a bat and spend 100 bucks more.

I still have my McGregor trap from 1972 that I think was made of Kangaroo. I remember my dad saying that he thought the "roo" was still alive because of all the bad hops I complained about.

My son started in LL in 1999 and played 1st base. I found an old Wes Parker autographed first baseman's mitt on a shelf in local pawn/used items shop. $10 !!!! and it was in good shape. He used it for 3 years until his hand got too big, we gave it to another young 1st baseman who did not have a true first baseman's mitt.

The glove he has now I got on sale for $159!

Now a glove costs more than a months rent on my first apartment!

LOL...Forget Joe Dimaggio....Where have you gone Wes Parker ?????

Actually the leather is from Italy so it would not be too much of a stretch to say they are Ferrari leather. They have the Ferrari horse stamped in the palm so form your own opinion there. Each one also comes in a leather carry bagSmile

The picture actually does not do them justice, they are VERY nice. Are they $400 nice? Not to me but I am sure they are to some.
