This is tough, because pitchers can't always have control over their W/L, or their K/BB if they get continueally squeezed, so I would go with ERA as first consideration but I can't predict.
I voted for Grienke and Carpenter.

Deldad,
I like Weaver. His old youth coach worked with my son when he was little, and he had a great season. Although I don't think he's got a shot I think you've got every right to pick him.

Oh! So you are from Chicago!

I know this because...

"I was laughing my butt off!"

...is exactly what all reelected politicians in Chicago do when the polls close and all of the votes...and votes...and votes...and even more votes are counted!

Wink

Oh...looky that! Here's a few thousand more under the video poker game!

Okay...any day now the Cy Young award will be announced...this is your last opportunity to get in your vote. I may add, post season don't count...it was the body of work during the regular season...

And as the woodman from the 'burbs of Chicago has pointed out...you can only vote more than once if you live in Chicago...in that case, 'vote early and vote often'.

It's a good day for the Royals. First, Zack wins the Cy Young (Greinke received 25 of 28 first-place votes) and then MLB to award 2012 All-Star Game to Kansas City.

party party party

.

.

There was a reference once to the baseball gods being pleased or upset by something that happened in a Royals game two years ago. A friend responded, "Please. The baseball gods are not watching the Royals." -- Sam Mellinger, KC Royals writer/blogger

No one else is, either.

I was for Grienke, I am happy that he won.

No comment on the NL winner.
