If you are still looking for a place to play, make sure you list your information on the Unsigned Players forum of this site. Today, my son and 2 other players listed on this forum got emails from a college coach indicating some interest and inviting them to a workout. It is obvious that college coaches read this site and it would be in your best interest to get your name out there. Best wishes!

People would be very surprised who reads this site on a consistent basis. While in Jupiter I had two different college coaches tell me they enjoyed reading the posts on this site. Some read just to get a feel about parents and their feelings about recruiting. Some are just fans of the game just like us and enjoy reading about the game. And some are looking for information on players anyway they can find it.
Any place you can get your name out is a good place. Coaches are always looking for players. The first step is to let them know you are looking for a place to play. So come on and put your name on that thread. How is it going to hurt?
I have not received a request for a player posting for a while, and I know that last Fall, at least one person reported that they had sent an e-mail I did not receive.
So, I have added to the directions that you can also provide the info to me via a Private Message. (See instructions below from the Unsigned Forum.)

I know of a guy here in our area that is unsigned.
A middle infielder - that is a very skilled player - and a winner. Pure winner.
It is inconceivable to me how this kid cannot be signed already.
Great player - great kid - great family - and a WINNER.
Any coach out there that wants a hint - PM me.

I will agree with the person who said keep all the information accurate. Fudging on height or capabilities is just going to get you a reputation of not being honest and then you will be black-listed so to say. As an example, Cutter Dykstra is probably not 6'0" but he is close enough and has the other tools and connections to counter-act people calling it into question. Lesson?: If your kid is not a Cutter Dykstra, keep it 100% accurate.

ALL- Please read the unsigned section INSTRUCTIONS closely!
You can not post on those boards. The player information needs to be sent to Krakatoa or MN-Mom via PM (or possibly email). They are the only ones with posting privileges in those forums. They want to keep extraneous stuff off of those boards/threads......
