Hah, that's great. I was on his program for 4 years, and now his website has seemingly shut down. Do you know why it got shut down? BTW, how long ago were you banned?

I too am a customer. The customer site isn't shut down, only the public side.

He had more trolls there then we do here.

I was banned because I voiced my opinion about D1ck's handling of a question. He called a young teen stupid (publically) for asking a question and after I questioned him, he erased the post. Next thing I know I was banned.

Oh well, he doesn't teach anything that is original anyway. It is usually reguritated from someone else.

No, I haven't. Yet. I am tough on the blues sometimes, but heck they are getting paid and should at least pay attention. I use my www.heckledepot.com heckles. They are great!

I started reading that site last year, and personally know a few local umpires.

At a fall game I said "I've seen better Blues in a box of crayons!" I thought the ump was going to fall over cracking up. Said he'd never heard that one.

Dick had a good idea years ago when folks hardly knew where to get information. There is alot of information out there now, and I hardly if ever go to his site.

Regardless of how we all feel about it, we DO NOT talk ugly about others.... expecially if it means Bob gets in hot water over it.

Ha... I beat you all... into DMs doghouse. I was the guy who recommended he start the website... back when all he was doing was his mailing list. but I also went on to recommend he move his newsletter to email and REDUCE the price... (since he didn't have publishing costs... and could greatly increase volumn) But Mr Moneybags... as I once coined him... didn't like that suggestion. I freely gave him several computer related tips and suggestions... which the GREAT ONE thought was Ad Nauseum...(I think thats how he spelled it) He stopped his newsletters, and once He started his Bulletin board.... I started to ask why his advice would differ, from what he first published and why contradictory posts would vanish....

Well it didn't take long for my posts to vanish also... SO I DROPPED that site from my surfing... in a hurry. We are talking about 7-8 years ago...

Some of what he said was great stuff... but he would never allow an opposing viewpoint, and would delete the post.... which SOURED me immediately...
