My fault I opened it. It was an interesting feel for the election mood of the HSBW. But, it is now turning a bit ugly and personal. If some want to carry the topic on it can be done with PM's

Choices:
Close thread and let it rot for 4 years
Keep it open and forget about baseball

Posting your frustrations can be a bit CATHARTIC (adj 1: emotionally purging [syn: psychotherapeutic] 2: emotionally purging (of e.g. art) [syn: releasing] 3: strongly laxative [syn: evacuant, purgative] n : a purging medicine; stimulates evacuation of the bowels [syn: purgative, physic, aperient])
but I've had about all the "emotional bowel purging" I can stand for right now. This "Cathartic" has seemed to cause a strong case of diarrhea of the fingers in some.

I remember a couple of months ago there was a rather heated discussion on this board about kerry and the swift boat episode.

Eventually it died down and so will this topic. Let the people decide when it should fade away.

In the meantime, we all now know that politics is a contact sport. If you can't handle contact, stay away from football and politics.

Dad04, I just noticed your new signature.

I regard it as cruel. Wink

Since we can't get people to bring their heads out of the political sewer (regardless of their opinion), I guess I have to just stay in this thread and do Potty-talk about them.

When people STOP talking to each other that's when there's a problem.

Regardless of the subject, dialog is always valuable.

You can agree or disagree & state your case, hopefully in a civil manner.

If you don't like the subject you can go to one of the recruiting threads or the thread discussing 6 year olds throwing curveballs every other day with a weighted ball before or after running sprintsdownhill while eating creatine as taught by Dick Mills, Mike Marshall, Marshall Tucker, Lynyrd Skynyrd, BF Skinner or whatever else under the sun you'd rather focus on.

Or you can always start the inevitable censorship of dissenting opinions here.
