I've been contacted by all the Special Interest groups and have seen the polls where their guy is leading the pack. However, the HSBW faction has not spoken. It would be interesting to see where this group sits.

PG, he's in Wisconsin ... you only have a 44%/45% chance of being right with 3% undecided, 4% illegal immigrant and 4% chance of not voting because of the headache you have from drinking 3 cases of beer the night before.

PG, I'm neither. I have issues with both. But, I have a real problem when someone flip-flops their stance in order to win votes. Stand up and be proud for what you really beleive.

I really hope this is a vote focusing on issues not the rhetoric/news clips that someone is "flipflopping." I am a registerred Republican who does not want my or anyone else's son drafted to fight a war that should not ever have been started. Did you see 60 Minutes last night? We have young men fighting this war and their parents are buying the required equipment. What type of military preparedness is that. We are also leaving all these young people we talk about so dearly on this website with massive debt and economic problems while passing taxcuts that are ridiculous. Guess that shows I am pretty disillusioned with the Republican. If Kerry had run on issues and presented his platform this would be easy. The fact that he didn't made this much more difficult than needed, at least for me.

Please let everyone know that due to the high amount of voters expected at the election polls, voting has been expanded to two days. Democrats vote on Tuesday and Republicans on Wednesday.

I am voting tomorrow against a candidate and not for one.
I am casting my ballot for a candidate that I am not 100% in favor of. I am casting my ballot against a candidate. For the highest office in our land and the most powerful man in the world, I would prefer a more clear cut choice.
There are no more Harry Trumans in the world of politics........our choice of which priviledged multi-millionare, who states he knows what its like to be "one of us" is pretty thin indeed.......

I can certainly understand people having serious issues with the current administration. What I find laughable is the notion that the alternative will be an improvement. I'm getting tired of trying to hold my nose with one hand and punch the ballot with the other.

Just for fun's sake (I Don't want a political argument), but there was a measure introduced this year to re-institute the draft. It was introduced by a Democrat from California.
In politics, anything goes, everything is said and if you believe 30% of what's reported on TV, you're gullible.

Why did they ever outlaw dueling? I could live with that selection process.

That's a good one! But it might be higher than 4%.
It's not that WI folks have a drinking problem, it's because they don't have a problem drinking.

Think about it. With what you need to go through to get elected and what they get paid, no one with the intelligence to actually do the job well, would want the job!
I propose a 6 year, 1 term presidency that pays $1,000,000 per year. No need to pander to the special interest groups, cause you can't get re-elected.
Play every game as if it were your last. Someday you will be right!

Moc, this came from those serving in Iraq, their commanding officers and was verified by Sen. John McCain. McCain's view is that members of Congress and the administration have still not come to grips that our troops/young men are fighting and dieing in a war and need bullets, etc. Yes there is a shortage of bullets. If there is 50% accuracy to the story, outrage should exist. I hope your LOL isn't heard by the Oregon National Guard troops fighting in Iraq who were interviewed.

If your Country calls, you go.....Fathers and sons before you did, so should you......Many soldiers died protecting America....Many more will do the same........God bless them....
Parents will believe anything.....Just go to any ball game and listen to them talk about their kids.....Required equipment to fight a war?......Yeah, right.....
60 Minutes?......CBS?.....You've got to be kidding.....Propaganda/lying at it's finest......This is who brought you Dan Rather......IMO, he is a treasonist dating back to the Vietnam conflict.......
Read the Bible often...
