FWIW, I am pretty sure ESPN announced that game 5 was the most watched game in WS history. These are exciting players to watch, all of them.
I must say, an excellent series.
I am a NL fan, but really have no preferences as my team isn't playing, the Phillies are awesome, but I can't help but admit I caught some Yankee fever.
Forget the potholes in the road and celebrate the journey instead...anonymous

The left handed hitters he will really struggle against because he can not work inside on them with a mid 80's fb. He can still get the rh hitters out with soft stuff away. But the Yankees may already have enough runs to win this one.

What a way for the probable close of Matsui's Yankee career to go. The Yankees have so many guys over 35, that they probably need that DH spot to rest individuals occasionally like Posada, Damon, etc. Since he's a free agent and can really only DH at this spot this was likely his last game as a Yankee.
Matsui played in our Goodwill Series in 1992 and 1993.
The pro scouts who coached our teams in Los Angeles and Korea recognize the talent at age 17. He played 3b for the Japan HS National Team and was a National hero.
Also playing in this year's World Series were Jimmy Rollins, Jayson Werth and Chan Ho Park. They played in our Goodwill Series International events.
