I am a senior this year and I would like to buy a new bat for the upcoming season.I am 5ft 11incn- I weigh 185 lbs. I do have some power - i have hit 11 HR's in the last 2 years. I am looking for some advice on a good bat that I could purchase for the upcoming season. I have been using 30/33 for size and weight of the bat.Any help with advice would be appreciated.

Thanks - jb

It's all a matter of preference - these seem to be the popular choices these days (In no particular order).

Easton Connexion, TPX Warrior or Omaha and the DeMarini Vexxum is getting some pretty good reviews.

My son bought a DeMarini Vexxum last year. His only regret was that he did not have it his first 3 years of HS ball. Large sweet spot and lots of pop (it still has lots of pop). He would highly recommend it.

You really like the Vexxum? Hard for me to imagine using a bat from a SOFTBALL company...guess it's the old school in me! We are thinking of giving it a try this spring.
We like the Omaha - seem to have better luck with Louisville than Easton, especially in terms of problems. We've had 3 Easton's break in the last year and a half...zero Louisville's.
Worst bat we've used? Definitely the Worth - a bigger-than-usual fungo as far as I'm concerned...with just as much pop!

I'd like to post that we order some composite wood bats for cage work from Glove Man. They look fantastic!!!

As for any other bat, I only know of one bat that I wouldn't recommend. While I won't name that bat, it has earned a reputation of exploding. We had two explode last year.

My son bought a Vexxum this fall and half the team is using it and getting some decent hits. Everyone seems to like the balance and seemingly extra pop. We'll see how it stands up over the course of the fall season...
