What is the advice from the websters on a kid competing in multi sports in college?
My son wants to play baseball in college. Is presently being "recurited" by a few D1's and a host of d3's.
He has also been a varsity wrestler since 9th grade. He has been "approached" this season about wrestling by a few schools.
He doesn't think he can do both and do well in school.
Any advice?

Knowing how hard I worked in college without playing a sport, I am having a hard time understanding how you play 1 sport and do well in your classes. Obviously there are many who do, but I'll bet its tough and takes a special person.

I wonder if it wouldn't be slightly easier to pull this off at a DIII. I don't think they play nearly as many games as a D1, which might make it easier to juggle.

It is not the amount of games or matches in each sport it is the year round training that takes place for each sport
