Travel involves morning games. We stop at BK for croissant sandwiches. He eats Subway if there are breaks between games. Between 7/11 and BK I've consumed 40 ounces of coffee before game one. I'm up for the game. A friend of mine pitched for the Brewers. He said they had the best Brats at the stadium. Since he knew he wasn't pitching until the ninth he sent a fan for a brat and a coke in the fourth inning.

For some reason I like to eat muffins before a game.

Sent Clif bars to school during the season. Son loves Bojangles after games. If you don't know what that is, you must come South. Poptarts are a "perfect food" according to son.
Your son shouldn't eat turkey. There's a natural chemical in turkey that creates fatigue. Chicken is OK.

ummm tryptophan You make a good point about watching what you eat, but since he doesn't eat mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potatoes, and pumpkin pie with his sandwich, I think he's OK with a couple of slices. No carb high and crash. (The current thinking is the carbs are the major culprit for the Thanksgiving nap.) He rarely drinks caffeine and never drinks those energy drinks. (anyone else hungry?)
