My '05 received his first letters in the past couple of weeks as well, it's a very exciting time.

Randall...Most of us know how exciting it is to get that first letter...And your son's came from Duke. What a great feeling. I wish your son the best in whatever decision he makes. Keep us posted.

I agree the first letter is the BEST! My son's best friend will be playing for Duke next year and he is very excited. Enjoy this year!

We were getting a few CAMP flyers etc... Which didn't mean much... But about 2nd week after attending the Jupiter event. My son received 3 or 4 REAL "CONTACT" letters in the mail within a couple days of each other.

"We saw you play in Jupiter....etc etc etc"

And that was an exciting week... The very first one he received was a full media guide and package from USF and thought WOW.... is this GREAT..

But two days later he received the one that really Caught our attention... and the one that sticks in my mind. It came with a big Gold Embossed "ND" on the letter head...

NOW... I'm not sure whether its my son or I, who's more anxious to pick up the mail each day.

PS....
Immediately go out and get (order)a copy of his transcript from school... and a copy of most recent report card. Also his HS baseball schedule if you have it yet. Return a copy of all those with the quesitionaire.

Also make copies of the (filled in)quesitonaire before you return it.
