I was at a Tampa Bay Rays game about a week ago and I really liked Cliff Floyd's entrance song, but I don't know the name of the song.
I'd like to add it to my ipod.
Thanks.

ok guys- it starts with a click like drumsticks hitting together then it goes to a hip hop beat. I don't remeber the words though.

I don't get the walk out song. It really sux for fans. You end up hearing the same 5-10 secs of the same song 4 or 5 times a game and for what? Is it supposed to get the players psyched? Pumped up? In the mood?
As a baseball fan, and a music fan, I say mix it up ...or be a good monkey and turn it back over to the organ grinder.

I wondered why the baseball kept getting bigger and bigger, and then it hit me.

Here's the lyrics:

"Ooooh, oooh, oooh, ooooooh, oooh
Ummm, oooh, oooooooh, um, say, ummm, uh
Get in chair, Andy"

This song has special meaning to Cliff as it was written and performed by his uncle Floyd Lawson.

It was covered by Nirvana later...but Cliff is old school...if you want to see Kurt's cover it's here.

Blame the Padres and Trevor Hoffman. They started it on a regular basis with "Sandman." I'd like to see a player choose The Chicken Dance and do it coming to the plate.

Hoffman uses ACDC's Hells Bells as his entrance song, which isn't actually bad considering you only hear it once per game. I want to blame unimaginative players, and the mind numbing repetitiveness of doing like everyone else. But I guess the real problem is a lack of good stadium announcers. You know, the ones with voices that just naturally fill up a stadium plainly and clearly. Somehow those never sound tired.

I'm glad Floyd isn't my barber!

One of my son's college teammates figured he wouldn't play much for the season, so he chose The Pina Colada Song as his walkup music.

An injury and a breakout year for him meant that we heard it 4-5 times a game. I thought it was hysterical!

So he thought he'd post found it thanks and no one would ask. lol I thold him you don't know this board to well do you. lol thanks again
