Hello, I may have to move to the area for Job reasons and I am trying to get as much info regarding baseball in your area. My son is a sophomore and is 16 prior to the age deadline of May 1st. We would be moving into the Weatherby Lakes area and it looks like he would attend Park Hill High School. We might have to leave by June. I hate to pull him off his AAU team and HS summer team, but it may happen. Also is there any fall wood bat leagues in the area. We live in Florida. I am hopping there are some traveling teams he could tryout for. Thanks. Any Info would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry all,..been away from the HSBBW this last week and am replying to this a little late.

Truthfully in our area, most summer traveling teams have already had tryouts,...BUT never let a door close that ya cant kick open! ha!

I would go online to www.kansascity.com
Then go to sports, and then " starting times ".
There you will find a list of almost every baseball tryout going on in the Kansas City Area and for almost every age.

If this doesnt give you many leads, please feel free to pm me,..and I will have a few more specific leads.

Heads up,..most 16 yr old Fall baseball tryouts are in early August. Start checking the paper early for tryout dates and times.

Hope this helps lead you in the right direction!!
Let me know! Smile....and WELCOME!!!
