Now that the offseason is offically over, the main focus of the spring season is focused more on the team than the individual. So as the season is underway, I was wondering who is the top s****** team? I don't mean a team with three all stars that tend to lead a team towards victory (ie last year's New Trier, Niles West), I mean a team with nobodies that end up pulling it off towards the end of the season (ie Proviso East, Glenbard West).

Well being from the Crete team and all I believe we went a lil further than people wouldve thought (ie hf) but lincoln way east shocked me not because they beat us but because the rough schedule they went through to get to where they did.

Holy Cross only loses 2 staters and returns all pitchers, Bobby Stevens (Jr SS) and Matt Behren (Sr C) from last year's team that beat Willowbrook's ace (Friga, now at Illinois State) and ended up losing in the sectional to Glenbard West.

Hey pitch, will Danny Von Moser be in the starting rotation for Holy Cross?

He came up last year as a soph and played 2B for us. He will start at 2B this year and most likely hit in the 2 hole, right between Stevens and Behren.

Did you play with him on the Renegades?

The Evanston-OPRF game does sound like one of the highlights of the opening weekend, hopfully the weather will stay nice and it can actully get played. Also tegid being as how you mentioned them earlier can I assume that you don't think Niles West is going to be that good this year, I'm just curios, I didn't get to see them in the summer?

It will be interesting to look at Niles West this year. at the plate, Justin Plaia, Ben Kim, and Michael (?) Rosen will probably have to lead the team with their bats. As for pitching, their going to have to put games on the shoulders of Rosen and senior Fink. Also, junior Chris Toy will probably be a huge welcome to the starting rotation.
