Shortstopmom,
My son went over Christmas of his junior year. It was the best camp he ever attended. He said there was never any down time. They were constantly working on skills in a fun way. They played whiffle ball games inside. He loved it, hope that helps. The only downside was there were very few other colleges there helping.

The head coach at University of Central Missouri NCAA Div II told me he was going to work the UM Christmas camp this year. Any coach that helps UM put on their camp get access to their all important lead list of attendees.

My son went last Christmas and he felt it was a very good and well run camp. He was only a sophomore so we didn't have a lot of expectations. He did get a good evaluation as far as getting an idea of how they felt about him and he had it in hand when he left the camp. We were hoping he would be able to go back again this year but he will be lucky to start pitching again in November so it probably would not be a good idea.

Thank you everyone for your input and comments!

We thought it was a good camp.

Blitzin' hot!!!!
Hottest day of the year. YOWZA!!!!
109 with the heat index factored in.

Head coach and assistants ran the camp. It started on time and was organized.
They had all boys wear shorts, which was probably a good idea.
Timed 60, drills ( according to position ), hitting in cages, live hitting,....then live game.

Pizza lunch provided and t-shirts given out to all campers.

Shaded viewing area, with picnic tables available for parents.

Campers cut loose an hour early, due to extreme heat.

It was a good day of ball.
