My nephew was recruited by Missouri and was scheduled as one of his 5 official visits, but he made his decision after 2 visits and never visited Mizzou. Missouri seems to recruit Illinois quite heavily.

I see 5 recruits on the link I listed above (Coleman, Munson, McCormick, Senne and Foglia). You can also add Crow from the Topeka area and Finley from the KC area. I can't remember any more off the top of my head.

This is a player from my son's school in Kansas that signed during the early period. This was the announcement on their web site

"Lendsey Thomson, a right handed pitcher out of Springfield, MO, will continue his career at the University of Missouri. “Thomson had a great fall season and he really elevated his game to the top level of Division I baseball,” said Fort Scott head coach Chris Moddelmog. Thomson played third base and pitched for the Hounds last season. He ended with a 1-2 record along with 3 saves in 12 appearances last spring. “Lendsey has a great arm and we are excited to have in our program. We feel like his best days are ahead of him on the mound,” said MU assistant coach Evan Pratte."

Travis Mitchell, an OF from Parkway Central High School in St. Louis(Max Scherzer's high school) also signed to play at Mizzou.

Got to see both Mitchell and Phil McCormick last year. Mitchell is pretty good and McCormick is a stud.
