My son plays for Nor Cal. Any words of advice before we go? It will be our (family's) first trip to the Elite 24. We are really looking forward to it. It should be tons of fun no matter how things turn out. Maybe our teams will meet up. That would be fun.

My son is real good friends with one of your new players. I think we are in the same pool, so I imagine we will play or we will at least watch your games. What number is your son? Who do you think the favorite is? I would imagine one of the Houston Teams.

That must be Matt. We love him! What a great kid. And a great family. We are lucky to have him for more than just obvious reasons. He was here for several weeks and just left Monday to return home and get ready for Florida. The boys were genuinly sad that he was leaving even though they would see him in a week. My son is #44 and yours? Heard the Houston teams are good but I really wouldn't take many of the teams for granted that will be there. We've learned that lesson the hard way one too many times.

Be ready to sweat! Eek It rained a ton when we were down there. Had to postpone most games. Drink water and be prepared for anything. Great competition though this last year I think many of the teams people thought would do well (ours included)were out somewhere in the middle. Didn't bring our stuff for that week, but whatever. The kids had fun. My son's most favorite game he ever played was there, and we lost. Played the Banditos in extra innings. A real nail biter.

My biggest suggestion as far as Disney goes is to go to DisneyQuest. We unfortunately found it late but it was too fun. One price admission, 5 story arcade. Would have been great on those rain delays.

Which team does your son play for? We've met up with some MO boys before.
