I saw ncball out at the U14 USA tryouts today. Some good players out there but maybe only one or two that stood out from the crowd. These two were a little bigger/mature than most.

It was a good experience for my son who is starting to realize he can play with these kids. He does not play on the "elite" local teams but I belive he could, especially after today.

ncball - how do you think the talent looks?

I thought the talent was pretty good. I've been helping the last three days- hitting fungos, timing guys, whatever they need.

Regarding this age, kids are constantly changing and you really can't make great judgements on them. I guarantee my thoughts on many of these kids will change in the next 6 months.

You don't know who will stop growing, keep growing, stop working, work harder, etc. The guys that keep everything in perspective and work hard throughout the journey will reach their potential.
