I posted this on another forum, but wanted to hit this one as well - you guys have been a terrific resource for us as we help our son build his baseball resume. I'm especially appreciative of the 'getting into college baseball' advice.....

My son (16) joined a private boarding school this past year to improve grades as well as baseball skills. The results have been pretty spectacular - his focus and discipline in the classroom and on the field have improved tremendously, he's making all A's, and he's playing at a level we've never seen before. The coach is an exceptional field coach, but more importantly, the entire school is committed to helping him get to the right college - academically & in baseball. This move - as hard as it was for us - has made a real difference in how he performs.

If anyone has a son struggling in school and also committed to playing very good baseball, I'd be happy to discuss through PM. The team has several strong (D1 level) players, but we need more to be competitive in the upcoming year - particularly in pitching.

I'm not paid for this - just want a GREAT HS team in 2009!

Where is this school located? Is there a website for the school to check it out?

Just wanted to revive this post.....Had a baseball parent meeting at son's school this week & the 09 team is very strong. BUT - still need two more solid pitchers and could always use more bats.

My son is getting good interest from top schools because of the strong grades & excellent baseball skills he's gotten at this school. These guys are committed to helping the boys achieve their goals. They've been great about contacting coaches, promoting him, etc.

If anyone is interested in an excellent HS baseball program as well as a way to prepare your son for college - and life - PM me (or visit www.cadet.com).
Thanks for allowing this unadulterated plug!
