At what age does the pin trading stop? We're headed to a 14u World Series and it dawned on me that we don't have pins. But then I thought that they're probably beyond that now anyway.

When we went to the Triple Crown World Series in Steamboat in 2004 all ages were trading. I suppose some boys would be interested and some would not. I know my 14u is still interested in that stuff.

I don't know. Thisis the first time I have encountered it. Seems like I saw a few of the older kids doing it, but maybe they were just real big 11'a(if you get my drift).

All ages were trading in Steamboat. Heck--Even I was having a great time. Great way to meet all kinds of people.

Get a small amount and let the ones trade that want to. Our biggest problem was not enough pins. It is even fun for siblings who "are forced to travel to big brother's games".

You're certainly right about that. I'd forgotten how hard I was trying to make trades for my boy. It was fun.

Once you agree upon the price you and your family must pay for success, it enables you to ignore the minor hurts, the opponent's pressure, and the temporary failures.
