Mikeau- Look forward to meeting up with you in those two tournaments and talking baseball. I will e-mail you a few weeks prior. It's always good to compare notes with good people throughout the country.

We are doing the same thing. Mike, you and I have talked for a few years via email and met at the 12U BiTS.

redbird5- You have to go to the Rib Ranch about 5 minutes away from the East Cobb facility. One pound beef ribs that you can shake the meat off the rib it's so moist!

Mikeau or Redbird- It would be fun to get a scrimmage going down there if possible. I could possibly get us on Georgia Tech.

ncball-you worried there's not going to be enough baseball?? Wink GT would be fun for the kids (and parents).

Don't know where it is but I hear Varsity should be a stop for us out-of-towners.

Its official. I'm jealous. Our team could never afford to take an east coast swing. Frown

I would love to see how JR stacks up with the big boys back east.

NC ball,
Are you going to take your 2013's out to AZ for any tournaments this year? We have a few teams that I think can play with anybody and I would love to see how they stack up to a phenomenal program like you operate.

Hustle never has a bad day.

BBfam- Varsity is a great place. Been there, done that, will do that again. GT is a neat place and the coaches are friends.

Doughnutman- We don't have a 2013 but we will in the fall. PM me so we can discuss some future things.

We would be interested in a scrimmage at GT if we can pull it off. Please let me know.

My contact there left for WCU.

redbird- Bobby has been a good friend for years. Great guy. I know Danny Hall pretty well and will call him. I think we can get a little three-way scrimmage going.

Texas Crude--Welcome to the HSBBW! Have you checked the Battle in the South website? Knoxville is about 30-40 minutes from Rockwood. That is where there is the most to do. The games at the 14U group are scattered amongst several sites. We stayed in Knoxville last year. Not a bad drive but can be a bummer if you have an early game or the games get delayed due to weather. There was a team last year that had a game start around 1:00 am (lightening storm) and then after they pulled in at 3 had to turn around to play an 8 or 9 o'clock game. It was rough. Mostly the boys just hung out and played baseball. Not lots of time to do to much. See you there?

Not much time to do anything. At 12U, we were able to take our kids to a UT-Vandy game but the NCAA season will be over then.
