Were they really that good or did they just get in a easy bracket? They made it to the final 4 and there was never much said about them on any of the web sites that was talking about the elite 24.

The added some very nice depth to their lineup and proved to be the best in their side of the bracket. They came in as an honorable mention so its not like they got lucky. The Texas Raiders were the best team on that half of the bracket. That was obvious when bracket play started. Team Alabama was the obvious choice from their side.
I will say that the best team won. Lets face it, if you played the tournament again and again you may have had a different final 4 every time but Team Alabama with that lineup wins every time. Just because a team wasn't mentioned doesn't mean they aren't good. It means that the reporters thought that other games were more interesting.

I see where they beat the Bandito's Black Cyclones Baseball SEM Pirates and beat the Baltimore Buzz team twice and heard they had a 3 to 2 lead going into the 7th inning against the centex raiders before the wheels fell off. Guess they were tougher than what everyone thot
