Those of you who reside in the peach state, when does the official start of high school baseball begin in GA?

tryouts Feb 4 for everyone
first game Feb 25 for our team

Same with our school. What about Virginia?

In Virginia, Feb. 25th begins try outs for public schools, March 1 begins tryouts for private schools. Games in most cases start early to mid March for both. Thank you both for replying.

I guess we're lucky to have a bit warmer weather down here so we get to start earlier. HOWEVER the weather has not been cooperating too much lately to get prepped for the upcoming tryouts!
