Can someone tell me number of teams ECB has from 16U thru 18U and how they compare per age group? I know that the Yankees 18U is what I would call the marquee team. Do they still have the Astros 16U? What about the 17/18U Braves?

Just for my understanding because I can't find anything on the web.

Thanks

The bama Bombers Junior(2006) team beat the 18U Braves in the Box at LSU. The score was 10-6. I think they woke up the Braves, as they have been on a tear since, but still a big win for the Bombers.

In next week's CABA 16U World Series in East Cobb there are 5 East Cobb teams in the field. There are the Titans, Cardinals, Yankees, White Sox, and Twins. Absent are the Astros who just finished quite a run winning the WWBA 16U Tournament and finishing 5th in the 18U tournament!

Who can shed some light on these teams. Thanks in advance.

all of those teams are pretty good. they have one or two players that are quite studly and then rest are decent to pretty good. the titans are the best of the bunch in my opinion. the white sox can be good at times (error free baseball) and the rest i have not played.

atl bjs, Pretty accurate on your information. The Titans lost in the Championship bracket to the Georgia Dodgers. It was the EC Yankees that made it to the final game vs Columbus Sharks. I was watching the game when the rain came and had to get to the airport. I tried to find the result on the CABA website and think that the Sharks may have won the Championship.

East Cobb, Great fields including all the HS fields that we used. Places like Kell, Pope, Walton were awesome. Also Southern Polytecnic University has a great complex. Thanks for the info.

wow suprising, i would have thought they would have done the worst, but you never know. thats why you play the game on the field. the coach used to coach me when i was younger, and i am happy for him. i go to walton. it sure is nice to hit there Smile i think you know what i mean.

East Cobb Astro's won the JR Olympic title in New Orleans-that is thier 4th in a row title for AAU Jr. Olympics-The East Cobb Raiders and Eagles also were there-Eagles did not even make it to the final round and the Raiders came in 3rd place (very good showing for the Raiders)

East Cobb's best 16U team was the Astros hands down they won all three Nationals they went to and finished the season with a 74-7 record. Here are the top two teams from 16-18

18U
1. EC Yankees
2. EC Braves

17U
1. EC Braves
2. EC Cardinals

16U
1. EC Astros
2. EC Titans (yankees may have beat them in CABA but if you look at overall record titans were better)

I have heard the 16U Astros are very good, the 18U Braves may have been as good if not better then the Yankees. The 17U Braves fair at best, The 17U Cardinals were strong.

The Titans were the most under-performing 16U team atEast Cobb...too many head cases (Astro Whanna Be's) and premadonnas.
