Blackheart (FS), Joel said he saw you at our new facility. What did you think of the new building? Back to the topic, I noticed that some of the ninth graders should be wearing helmets in the outfield. I wondered if they had been playing ball the last couple of years. We only had 52 come out, so we need them all. I don't think the hs coaches should have to go to the rec parks, I think it should be the other way around. Also, parents should be proactive and go get help from qualified instructors if there kids are serious about the game. Most parents/coaches at the rec league only know enough techniques to take their kids to a certain level. I know I was limited. I guess we might get a chance to talk on 3/12.

Joel saw Eric's father, I'm Eric's stepfather. We get along well and he is good man. His son (Eric's halfbrother) plays on Hamilton's sons team and took BP at the new facility. I haven't seen it yet but Eric's dad said it was impressive. EC's new batting facility may be ready by weeks end. Didn't mean to give you a headache on the lineage correction. EC has some junior and sophomores that are looking pretty good. If we can get some quality starts out of them, we may make a run for region but Starrs Mill is loaded. Tell Joel to keep working hard and I will see you both on March 12th.
