The Gordon College baseball coaching staff announces its tryout for the
Fall 2007 - Spring 2008 team. It is an open tryout, no invitation necessary,
and no fees. Any player who would like to participate in the tryout will need to be
at the Gordon College baseball field 10 - 15 minutes early to fill out a player
information questionnaire and a liability waiver. Players will need to provide the
coaching staff with GPA and SAT/ACT scores, and transcripts are preferred.
The tryout will consist of a timed 60 yard dash, players fielding and throwing from
their positions, batting practice, and pitchers throwing a bullpen. The coaching
staff welcomes any player who is interested in playing for the Gordon College
baseball team next year to attend this tryout. Please check this web site for any
cancellation of the tryout due to weather. The coaching staff will announce any
changes on this website. For those who cannot attend this tryout, the Gordon
College baseball coaching staff will also have a tryout in May-June. The date will
be announced at a later time.
