There are a couple key factors that no one seems to be taking in to account concerning the large recruiting class.

1. They clearly don't expect all 20 of their recruits to make it to campus.
2. They have not finalized their roster for the spring season yet. I'm sure there will be transfers thus reducing the size of their roster for '08.
3. They will also be losing several to both the '08 MLB Draft coming up in June including several to graduation.

Good point. Even if 8 or so never make it to campus they'll still need to cut 15 after the fall.

That just doesn't seem reasonable to me. I'm gonna hate to see some of those kids disappointed when they could possibly be playing somewhere else.

On the other hand, if they (or their parents) did their research they'd know what they were getting into. HSBBW ought to be required reading & blogging for high school juniors who are looking to play beyond high school.
