I took my son, and a couple of others, last year. It’s a so so event, IMO. Top 100 is a nice recognition but as usual if you aren't the biggest, fastest etc, don’t bother. It’s like they are building a travel team to go around and play. I guess it’s good for the kids who make the team.

This program doesn’t really attempt to project players. They do provide feedback based on the 70/30 plan (if I remember the breakdown correctly) Most folks aren’t sure how to interpret the feedback. It measures the player against the average major leaguer. I question how do you compare a 16/17 to a major leaguer if he’s not ful grown or mature.

Save your money on this one. Find a camp or showcase at a school your son is interested in and attend that. Did it two years and skipped last year. Good ol' boys club.

The upside is if the player does make the 100 cut they will get lots of exposure not only from the local guys but USA Baseball is the real deal that really put a player on the map!
