Hey Guys! Who do you think looks good this year in Region 6? To me, it seems like Lassiter and Pope look the strongest. Just wondering what your thoughts were.

Not sure the answer to your question Go. My son is a freshman at Centennial, so I would be interested in what the thoughts are as well. Pretty sure Centennial won't be one of the top. They were not good last year. Good news for us is 11 seniors left the program. Not that those guys were real bad, but at least we get a fresh start this year. Welcome to HSBBW by the way. Noticed this is your first post.

My son played on a summer travel team 2 years ago (before his Senior year) with boys mainly from Centennial. A bunch of great kids, CJ Lusted, Daniel Marsh, Lance Worley, Robert (pitcher), Corbin, and others.

He will now be playing JUCO ball against Daniel!

Thanks For the welcome bballman! Centennial will definitely be interesting. There is a lot of talent over in that area so I am excited to see what will come out of there. I think it is just hard for them to do a lot because of such a strong region. It may be a different story if they played in another one. Good luck to your son! Please keep me updated on how he does.

YoungGun, I have met some of those guys as well. Very nice kids and some good ball players as well. I know Daniel is playing at Young Harris this year and Corbin is going to Georgetown next year. From what I have heard CJ was pretty good too. Forget if he is playing in college this year. Not sure why they did not do well as a team. I have heard that they were short on pitching talent. Anyway, it will be interesting. Go, I'll let you know how my son does. He is a pretty good pitcher so he may have a chance in the next year or two.

CJ is playing baseball at Georgia Southern.

And you are correct, they were unfortunately short on pitching.

If Roswell is in Region 6 then they will be tough. They have 5 guys that are all committed D-1 guys.

Kevin Herlihy - Savannah State
Preston Hatcher - Western Carloina
Derick Thomas - Memphis
Zane Evans - early commit to Auburn
Andrew Smith - early commit to UNC

Lassiter should also be good with:

Blake Crohan - Tulane
Kevin Link - Princeton
Jake Stephens
Brandon Stephens
Reid Handler

Both teams shoudl have good pitching to make through that brutal region schedule.
