I'm curious. How can a player be put on the H.S. roster when he is an incoming freshman, didn't play on the summer team, and didn't try out due to an injury? While he is a good baseball player (he played on the same team as my son in the past) so are others who were at the try outs and were cut from the team.

The coach may know the boys ability and the factor that the boy had an injury covers the coach in his choice
