Brad put his John Hancock on the dotted line last week. Congratulations. He had a nice write up on the Tulane baseball website. All that hard work and fun paid off. Now you can use the saved up college fund money to increase the canine herd at your ponderosa. It would have been nice to see BA, Brian, and Josh's accomplishment written up in the local rag. Did Stuart drop the ball? Articles like those really propel others to work harder and start dynasties. Oh well. Say hey to your better half for me. Congrats again.

Stuart would only have writtent the article if they had all signed with UGA. His vision seems to only go as far as Athens when it comes to college reporting and kids that are signing.

Stuart has been a big supporter and is the beat writer for EC baseball. We have no issues with him. Tommy Camp is another story. I think Stuart also does alot of NG articles. Camp is strictly a Newnan homer.

I agree that Stuart covers EC and NG well. My point was, that if those players had signed with Georgia, he would have written a column. He is more of a UGA homer than Camp is a Newnan homer and camp is a Newnan homer. Stuart has often stated his bias to UGA. Me being a Tech grad, makes it tough to read his columns sometimes.

Don't get me wrong, I like Stuart. He has given "cookies" to my son in past columns. I just wish he was a little fairer about his coverage of college sports.

Gotcha. I don't think I would want to get too much coverage if I inked with UGA's baseball program. Probably the weakest compared to GTech,Kennesaw State, Columbus College, Middle Georgia, Auburn, Alabama, USC and Clemson. Maybe Nelson will give their program some legitmacy but I don't thnk he will ever set foot on the Athens field. TJ surgery isn't what it used to be and I think he will go top 20 in the draft.

Bingo! You absolutely nailed it with that statement. Probably could've thrown Armstrong State, North Georgia, and every now and then Brewton Parker in that mix as well.
