I would say your son is in an elite class. My son at 14 was topping out at 82, cruising at 78. He played with another kid that would cruise at 82, and could probably top out at 85.

6' 175 lbs
Played for the Knoxville Yard at Jupitor, Diamond Baseball Jacksonville at Ft Meyers x2, Leesburg, Deland, Kissimee and Atlanta, all summer long.
So far in 4 appearances this year 1-0, 2 saves, 0 er, 1.5 k's per inning

End of Season....6-2-2 lowest recorded season ERA in Clay High history at 0.89, 7 cgs, #5 rated pitcher in North Florida (Florida Times Union), sat 2 weeks as #1, 2 shutouts including his schools only District tourney shutout, 3 games with no earned...perfect fielding pct. played ss,2b,3b and pitched.
Not bad...not bad at all...
