Many of you have taken the time to delete old PM threads, and I appreciate that, because it saves us money on our hosting costs. I'll be going a bit further in getting rid of the old PMs we aren't using, by automatically deleting any PM threads which haven't had a reply for one year.

I'll wait a few days to delete the old PMs, giving you a chance to make a copy of any old conversations you would like to keep.

I need to do this because we currently have about 500,000 (a half million) total posts, and I get charged each month for the "overage" in posts. Our monthly hosting bill now ranges from $700 to $800 per month, though I am working this summer on preparing for a move to a less expensive host that can still provide us with the forum features we have here plus a very fast server to keep the forums running at an acceptable speed (for searches, etc.).
