Conky, I've been reading all of your posts on this site. It's sounds to me like you need so help and fast! You're 18 years old, so depending on your date of birth, you missed the boat when it comes to playing for an elite baseball team that could have helped you with a scholarship. From your posts, it looks like you may be concerned about meeting the entrance requirments for a US Juco. It also seems to me that money could be a concern. I have noted that you live in London Ontario. Here is a piece of advice for you because it really seems like you're scrambling for answers. Go to the London Badgers baseball team website; http://www.londonbadgers.on.ca/ and pull off the contact information for Coach Lumley. Ask if you can meet with him as I'm sure he could answer a lot of your questions. I would ask him if he would be willing to evaluate you talent-wise for baseball to see if you have what it takes to warrant a scholarship. Some Jucos will have different entrance requirements for International Students, so once he has seen your grades and your level of play, he may be able to offer you some good advice. Short of UBC, I don't know of any colleges or universities in Canada that are scouted for baseball players. Good Luck!

also i should say that the Badgers are VERY overated, the talent level there from what ive been told by many people is not as high as you would think, they really just have a bunch of rich kids, thats why they generally finish last place compared to other teams in there league because the other teams actually have talent, not just a big cheque book oh and if you watch the video on this site, you can see that on the outfield fence, thsoe are all the pro players that have come out of Kwalten College http://www.kwantlenchronicle.ca/2009/03/play-ball/i guess the MLB somewhat looks at them

Conky, I was 18 when I started my search for a US College to play for so I know how you're in a time crunch and how frustrating it can be. Most Colleges in Canada don't offer varsity Baseball as a sport. Junior Intercounty is a decent league as GoodPitching suggests. But as far as getting noticed whie playing in that league I'm not too sure if that would help you out. As far as signing up with College Baseball Conect... all that is going to do is get your name out and at a cost... probably at a cost that when it's all said and done you could use that money and "market" yourself to schools. You could even make your own website for yourself for free from eteamz.com Another thing to keep in mind is if you start looking at US schools check to see if OSAP recognizes them as a school if they do then you can qualify for some funding from OSAP. Check out this link Checklist Info for Canadian Players it should help you as well. Hopefully this helps
