Hunter Bacot is a 2008 RHP/OF with a 6'2'', 175 lb. frame from Cary, NC who attends The Miller School (Charlottesville, Va). Strong lower 1/2, narrow upper 1/2. Very compact arm action, quick arm, hides ball well. Threw almost all FB's, hitters don't see ball, poor swings often, especially when pitching up. SL has weak spin, needs an off speed pitch. Follow. Good student.

Additional Comments:
After PG (summer '07), I worked to develop other pitches and now have change and curve. I think I'll break 90 soon. I sit at 87 to 89. I don't know how accurate it is, but in our first game this year I hit 93 on the "field gun" that has pitch speed posted in outfield (we played in a minor league park). I have only been pitching since sophomore year (got in 8 innings my sophomore year and 38 innings last year). I don't have sophomore stats, but last year I was 4-1 with 54 strike outs and 13 walks with an era of ~2.39 in about 35 to 40 innings.

Went undefeated (pitching) over a year's period (last year), with four different teams, including the Ft. Wayne, IN Snider H.S. varsity, and three summer elite teams, including the Indiana Eagles.
